Geography/Culture: Roman > Etruria. There is an inscription of dedication to Her on the figure of a priestess, c. 2nd half of 2nd century BC, found in Etruria, this is the earliest reference. She had a fountain in the Roman Forum.

Description: Goddess of rivers and still waters; Matroness of the Fontani, the fountain and aquaduct designers and builders, and architects; [She Who loves sculptors of stone].

To Whom is sacred: water; springs; artificial fountains.

Festival: Juturnalia (also called the Carmentalia), January 11.
